Vivo Y33s, Vivo Y21 Specifications, Surface Design Online; Suggested release next week

The launch of the Vivo Y33s and Vivo Y21 in India looks imminent as key smartphone specs and designs have emerged online. Vivo’s two smartphones will be released next week. The Vivo Y33s is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, while the Vivo Y21 may come with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset under the hood. Both smartphones should run on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 ready to use. However, both smartphones appear to lack 5G connectivity.

The design and key specs of the Vivo Y33s and Vivo Y21 were shared by insider Yogesh Brar along with 91Mobiles. The report also states that the two Vivo smartphones will be launched as early as next week.

Vivo Y33s specifications (expected)

The Vivo Y33s is expected to run Funtouch OS 11.1, based on Android 11. It can have a 6.58-inch (2,408×1,080 pixels) Halo FullView full-HD+ screen. Under the hood, it can come with a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core SoC. Vivo Y33s can also get 8GB of RAM along with 4GB of extended RAM. It can have 128GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

For optics, the Vivo Y33s can come with a triple rear camera configuration. It can have a 50 megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens, a 2 megapixel bokeh sensor with f/2.4 aperture lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture lens. Rear cameras can also get Super Night mode, Ultra Stable video, Super HDR and Eye Autofocus. For selfies, you can get a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo Y33s can include a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Connectivity options can include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5 and USB OTG. It may also have a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It can measure 164.26×76,08x8mm and weigh 182 grams.

Vivo Y21 specifications (expected)

The Vivo Y21 can also run Funtouch OS 11.1, based on Android 11. It can feature a 6.51-inch HD + Halo FullView screen (720X1,600 pixels). It can be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC octa-core paired with 4GB RAM and 1GB extended RAM. Its supposed 128GB of onboard storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

It can come with a dual rear camera configuration. Vivo Y21 can sport a 13 megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture lens and a 2-megapixel super macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture lens. Selfies and video calls can be controlled by an 8 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens.

Vivo Y22 can pack a 5,000 mAh battery along with 18W quick charge support. Connectivity options can include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5 and USB OTG. Vivo can also supply a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It could measure 164.26×76.08x8mm and weigh 182 grams.
