Details of the Vivo X70 Pro+ camera were leaked following the official teaser shared by Vivo. The Vivo X70 series is expected to include three phones, namely the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro and the Vivo X70 Pro+. The series is scheduled to be released on September 9th as the successor to the Vivo X60 series from December of last year. Also, the Pro+ variant was supposedly seen on Geekbench suggesting some of the specs. Color options for the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro were also suggested before their release.
Vivo recently confirmed that the Vivo X70 smartphone series will be released on September 9th. The Pro+ model was tested to have a leather rear version and a quad rear camera configuration that was developed in partnership with Zeiss. Now, a known informant with the Panda pseudonym is Bald / Bald Panda (translated) has shared camera setup details on Weibo for the Vivo X70 Pro+.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ features a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 sensor that features an ultra-wide-angle lens. It is also said that there is a 12 megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait sensor with OIS and an 8 megapixel periscopic lens with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom, in addition to OIS.
Also, a Vivo phone with model number V2145A was located on the Geekbench and is said to be the Vivo X70 Pro+. It was listed with 12GB of RAM and Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone scored 1,156 on the single-core and 3,460 on the multiple-score test.
Another informant with the pseudonym Geek Technology Man (translated) shared on Weibo that the vanilla Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro will come in black, orange and two other colors called monologue and nebula. The Vivo X70 Pro+, on the other hand, comes in black, blue pigment and orange peel.
As mentioned earlier, the Vivo X70 series will be released on September 9th and will likely be available for the first time in China.
