Samsung Galaxy M52 5G release expected soon, identified in US FCC, Bluetooth SIG certification lists

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G looks imminent, as the smartphone has been seen on two more certification sites. The next phone was listed on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, which doesn’t divulge much information about the smartphone’s specs, except hinting at its upcoming release, as well as Bluetooth SIG. Last month, the smartphone appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, meaning it will also be available in India soon. Also, the supposed specs of the Samsung Galaxy M52 GG appeared in a leak last month.

The listing of the next Samsung smartphone on the US FCC certification website only contains information about model number and network connectivity. The list says that a Samsung smartphone with model number SM-526B / DS – formerly associated with the phone – has dual-band Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, along with 5G support.

The smartphone was also identified in a Bluetooth SIG list which mentions that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G will have Bluetooth v5 connectivity. The list mentions two model numbers – SM-M526BR_DS and SM-M526B_DS – along with the name. Both listings were first identified by MySmartPrice.

Last month, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G was located on a BIS list. The phone’s launch is scheduled for the end of September.

An August leak suggests that the Galaxy M52 5G will likely run the One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It can feature a 6.7-inch full-HD + (1080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s also likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 778G SoC – also seen on your list. in June’s Geekbench – and can come with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

For optics, Samsung’s upcoming smartphone is expected to have a triple rear camera configuration with a 64 megapixel primary sensor – corroborating a previous report – along with a 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. It can also have a 32 megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options can include 11 5G bands and the phone can support 15W fast charging. It is said to measure 164x76x7mm and weigh 175 grams.
