This handset includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and a 6.7 inch big screen with full-HD+ resolution. The Redmi phone also supports 100W fast charging and comes with dual speakers. The name of this Redmi phone is a mystery, but it is speculated that it is one of the models in the supposed Redmi K50 series.
The Chinese informant’s Digital Chat Station leaked the main specs of the next Redmi phone. As mentioned above, the device features a large 6.7-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution (1,080×2,400 pixels) and must be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The display is tilted to come with 120Hz refresh rate support.
As for the camera, the Redmi phone will come with a 50 megapixel main camera. In a separate post, the same insider claims that a Redmi phone’s specs are fast charging of over 100W, dual speakers, and IP68 water and dust resistance. The insider does not specifically mention that these leaked specs are from the same Redmi phone or different ones. This is speculation.
These phones appear to be from one of the supposed Redmi K50 series models. Xiaomi has not yet made any announcements about the Redmi K50 series. It’s not clear when the lineup will be unveiled, but it’s likely to include models like Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro+.
A Redmi K40 Ultra model is also in development, but this variant is expected to be powered by an unspecified MediaTek SoC. It can come with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120 Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be equipped with a 108 megapixel ISOCELL HM2 primary sensor, a Sony IMX355 wide-angle sensor and a telemacro sensor with a 3X zoom.
