Redmi 10 Prime price, specifications (expected)
The Redmi 10 Prime is expected to be a renamed variant of the Redmi 10, which launched globally in mid-August starting at $179 (about Rs. 13,300) for the 4GB 64GB variant, going up to $219 (about Rs. 13,300) Rs. 16,600) for the 6GB and 128GB variant. We can expect the Redmi 10 Prime to be the same price in India.
So far, the company has confirmed some Redmi 10 Prime specs, which include a 6,000mAh battery, one of the possible changes we can expect from the Redmi 10 – that smartphone featured a smaller 5,000mAh battery.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed by Xiaomi the processor in the Redmi 10 Prime. The company has revealed that it will present the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC – the same chip powers the Redmi 10. Other featured details include a perforated screen, adaptive refresh rate and dual microphones, all compatible with the Redmi 10.
If all other Redmi 10 Prime specs remain the same as Redmi 10, we can expect: MIUI 12.5 (based on Android 11), 6.5 inch full-HD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, up to 6GB RAM , up to 128GB of built-in storage, a quad rear camera configuration (50 megapixels, 8 megapixels, 2 megapixels, 2 megapixels), 8 megapixel front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, support for 18W fast charging and 9W wired reverse charging.
Price, specifications of Redmi headphones (expected)
With the latest Redmi smartphone, Xiaomi will also unveil a new pair of true Redmi wireless headphones at today’s launch event. The company had tried out TWS headphones last week, and at the time, we saw an egg-shaped charging case and a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds.
Other confirmed specs of true Redmi wireless headphones include a Qualcomm chipset and aptX adaptive codec support. TWS headsets have also been tested to feature dual drivers in addition to support for Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. As mentioned, a total battery life of 30 hours was also revealed, in addition to a splash/sweat proof design and touch controls. Quick Pair support was also brought about.
All of these specs are very close to the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro, which was released in China and released globally as Redmi Buds 3 Pro. 59.99 (about Rs. 4,500). We can expect the price of India to be somewhere in between.
