Redmi 10 Prime India release date announced September 3, key features revealed

The launch of the Redmi 10 Prime in India is set for September 3, teased Xiaomi on Monday. The Chinese company also unveiled some of the key features of its new phone via a dedicated microsite. If we look at some of the previous reports, the Redmi 10 Prime might just be a reworked version of the Redmi 10 that Xiaomi released last week. The smartphone is designed to feature a perforated screen with an adaptive refresh rate and a new MediaTek Helio SoC.

Xiaomi changed her username. Redmi India Account on Twitter for 10 distinct primes to suggest the arrival of the Redmi 10 Prime. Twitter account too posted a Monday tweet that links to a microsite that has a timer to suggest that the Redmi 10 Prime launch would take place at 12:00 noon on September 3rd.

The microsite also features some of the Redmi 10 Prime’s key features, including its perforation design, adaptive refresh rate, and dual microphones.

Last week, the Redmi 10 Prime was seen on the website of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) with a model number 21061119BI. The ‘I’ at the end suggested that the model could be made specifically for the Indian market. However, the rest of the model number was identical to the Redmi 10. This suggested that the Redmi 10 Prime could be a renamed Redmi 10.
