Realme Pad, the Chinese phone maker’s first tablet, will be released in India on 9 September. Some of the tablet’s key specs were suggested by the company, giving an overview of its processor, battery and fast charging features. The company’s CEO in India and Europe, Madhav Sheth, shared a photo of Realme Pad on Twitter and revealed new details about Realme Pad, including its availability in Europe. Several teasers and leaks have surfaced on the tablet in the past.
According to some tweets posted by Realme TechLife identifier (@realmeTechLife), Realme Pad will come with a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. Aimed at gamers, the processor promises to bring stable frame rates and “bright” image quality. The Realme Pad will also include a large 7,100mAh battery that the company says can provide 65 days of standby time. The tablet also supports fast charging of 18W Quick Charge, according to the tweet.
Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth shared a photo of the upcoming tablet on twitter. He wrote: “The familiarity with the UI made it easier for me to get used to the latest #realmePad. It’s very convenient for me to transport it anywhere in Europe, making it extremely easy to attend business meetings anywhere. ” As he mentioned Europe in his tweet, it’s safe to speculate that the Realme Pad will also be available in the European market in addition to India.
The next Realme Pad will be released alongside the Realme 8s 5G and the Realme 8i on September 9th. The virtual launch event will start at 12:30 pm IST.
Prior to the launch of Realme Pad in India, a dedicated page recently aired on Flipkart. It confirms the device’s key specs, including the slim 6.9mm body, a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ full-screen display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, and a screen-to-body ratio of 82.5 Percent. On the teaser page, the Realme Pad carries two cameras – one on the back and one on the front. Previous leaks suggest the Realme Pad may have 8-megapixel sensors on the front and back. Android-based Realme Pad must have sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
