Realme Narzo 50A Supposedly BIS, NBTC Certification Scholarship; Camera details also appear.

The Realme Narzo 50A could be the next phone in the Narzo series, as it has supposedly achieved some certifications. It looks like Realme is going to skip the Narzo 40 series, as well as some of its other smartphones. The phone could be released in India in the near future as one of the listings is by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Additionally, some camera details for the supposed Realme Narzo 50A also appeared, suggesting a 13-megapixel primary sensor on the back.

Realme launched its Narzo 30 series which includes the 4G Realme Narzo 30, its 5G variant Realme Narzo 30A and the Realme Narzo 30 Pro earlier this year. Now, a new leak suggests the company is working on a new Narzo series smartphone called Realme Narzo 50A. Known Informant Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishkhd) tweeted screenshots of supposed NBTC and BIS listings. The NBTC listing shows a Realme phone with model number RMX3430 and mentions the name as ‘Realme Narzo 50A.’ The alleged BIS listing also has the same model number, suggesting an imminent launch.

This suggests that Realme decided to skip the Narzo 40 series as the successor to the Narzo 30 series in favor of the Realme Narzo 50 series. The company had already skipped the ‘4’ series in its numbered phone models and the X series, hence this change it’s not really a surprise.

The insider also mentions that this Realme Narzo 50A is a 4G phone which suggests that there could be a Realme Narzo 50A 5G as well. At the moment, it is unclear how many phones will be part of the series, what they will be called or when they will be revealed.

In addition, camera details for the supposed Realme Narzo 50A also appeared. The same model number was located in the Camerafv5.com database and comes with a 13 megapixel sensor (12.5 megapixels in the database) with an f/1.8 lens, a 1/3 inch sensor and a resolution of maximum image of 4,080×3, 072 pixels. On the front, the phone is expected to have an 8-megapixel selfie trigger with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.6-inch sensor, maximum image resolution of 3,264 x 2,448 pixels and fixed focus.

It should be noted that so far Realme has not shared any information about an upcoming series of Narzo. Therefore, this information should be considered with a pinch of salt.
