The PlayStation 5 will be back in stock in India on August 26th at 12pm. Sony’s own online store has updated its PS5 console page with the pre-order date. Along with Sony’s online store, the console will likely be available for pre-order through other online platforms that already had the console for sale. PS5 listings are available on several of these sites, but undated. The PlayStation 5 launched globally in November last year and arrived in India in February this year.
The PS5 was last pre-ordered in India on July 26th and, like all previous instances, was sold out in minutes. Now, a month later, the console will be available for pre-order once more, so interested buyers have another chance to buy one, if they’re lucky. Sony’s online store Shopatsc.com revealed that the date is August 26 from 12pm.
Although other sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, Prepaid Gamer Card, Croma and Game Loot have the console listed, there is no order date mentioned to suggest that they will be published through these lists on the same date. August.
Only the PS5 Standard Edition will be available for ordering on date and it costs Rs. 49,990. You get the console and a DualSense controller in the box.
Since its launch in November of last year, the PlayStation 5 has been facing inventory issues around the world and a large number of people are still waiting to get their hands on the console. Interestingly, late last month, Sony revealed that it has sold more than 10 million PS5 consoles globally since launch on July 18th. The company also said the PS5 had become its fastest selling console ever.
