OnePlus 9RT supposedly located on the BIS certification website, could be launched in India soon

The OnePlus 9RT is preparing for its launch in India as it has been located on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. According to a previous report, the next smartphone is expected to be released only in India and China and could also be the last smartphone released by OnePlus this year. Another report suggested the smartphone’s main specs, suggesting it could come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, a triple rear camera configuration, and 65W fast charging support.

AN tweet by informant Mukul Sharma mentions that an upcoming OnePlus smartphone was found on the BIS certification website. The smartphone is listed with model number MT2111, which is being speculated as the OnePlus 9RT. The list doesn’t divulge much information about the smartphone, however it does suggest that the next smartphone could be released in India soon.

A report earlier this month suggests the smartphone could be launched in India and China in October.

The next OnePlus 9RT is offered in two configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The former is priced at CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 34,000), while the latter is expected to cost CNY 3,299 (about Rs. 37,400).

The OnePlus 9RT is speculated to come with a 6.55-inch Samsung E3 full-HD + Super AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC – also found on the OnePlus 9R (review) – paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

The soon-to-be-released smartphone is expected to come in a triple rear-camera configuration featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766, also found in the OnePlus Nord 2 (review), along with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide Sony IMX481. angle sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, he can get a 16 megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor. The OnePlus 9RT has a 4,500 mAh battery that can support a 65W quick charge.
