Nokia G50 specs suggested by the supposed TENAA list, may come with a 6.82 inch screen

The Nokia G50 may be gearing up for a launch soon, as some of the smartphone’s key specs appear to have come online through a listing on China’s TENAA certification website. The next smartphone is speculated as the company’s cheapest 5G offering. It may be released in some markets in September. It is speculated that it will also reach the Indian market. Last week, Nokia accidentally unveiled the next Nokia G50 via an Instagram post, and earlier this week, some official-looking, price, and spec renderings of the smartphone surfaced online.

The TENAA list for the Nokia G50 was first identified by MySmartPrice. The phone listed is seen with model number TA-1361, which is believed to belong to the Nokia G50. The upcoming Nokia smartphone is shown with a 6.82-inch (720×1,640 pixels) IPS HD+ LCD screen. According to the listing, the smartphone can measure 173.83×77.68×8.85mm and weigh 220 grams. The list also mentions that the smartphone can have 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM options and can come in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants. Onboard storage can also be expanded via a microSD up to 1TB.

The Nokia G50 also comes with Android 11 ready to use. It is expected to have a 2GHz octa-core processor – probably the Snapdragon 480 5G SoC.

The smartphone may come with a triple rear camera configuration, topped off by a 48-megapixel primary sensor, as seen in the accidental Instagram post. TENAA lists the smartphone to have 720p video recording capability and may have an 8 megapixel selfie camera as well. The Nokia G50 is also listed with a 4,850mAh battery. It can have gravity sensors, distance sensors and light sensors. Connectivity options can include support for dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.

The next Nokia smartphone may come in Blue and Midnight Sun color options and support 5G connectivity. The design appears to be similar to that found on the Nokia G10 and Nokia G20. The rear panel has a gradient finish, while the front receives a drop-in-drop style notch for the selfie camera.

In terms of price, the Nokia G50 is expected to be available in the UK for GBP 207 (about Rs. 20,800) for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant. The 4GB+128GB storage variant can cost AUD 477 (about Rs. 25,700) in Australia.
