Xiaomi will hold its Smarter Living 2022 event on August 26 at 12:00 pm IST (noon), where it will announce some new products. It has already been confirmed that Mi Band 6 and Mi Notebook will be featured at the event and now Mi TV 5X has been added to the list. Xiaomi’s new smart TV series has been confirmed for launch at the event through a tweet by Xiaomi India. The event’s dedicated page was also live, featuring some of the features that come with the Mi TV 5X.

Mi TV 5X will come with narrow bezels with metal finish. It will feature Dolby powered audio that is backed by “class leading power”. Image quality has also been improved and Xiaomi says it will be sensitive to the environment, meaning there may be some kind of ambient light sensor that dynamically adjusts image quality or brightness. Mi TV 5X will also have a new generation PatchWall interface. It will come with remote field microphones for better Google Assistant service. Finally, the SoC will be ready for the future, according to the dedicated page.

Three devices have already been confirmed for launch at the event – Mi Band 6, Mi Notebook and Mi TV 5X. At the moment it is unclear whether there will be multiple models of the Mi Notebook and Mi TV 5X.
