Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro appear to be Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship phones. Although the company has yet to provide any official details on the two models, the Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro reportedly received certifications from regulators, including the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Some Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro specs also appeared on China’s Weibo. Xiaomi speculates to host the Mi 11T launch in September. It could be a global launch event for Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro.
As initially reported by MySmartPrice, a new Xiaomi phone appeared on the US FCC website with a model number of 21081111RG. This is believed to be associated with the Mi 11T.
Specifications Mi 11T (expected)
The US FCC list suggested some of the Mi 11T’s key specs. The list shows that the smartphone with model number 21081111RG can run on MIUI 12.5 out of the box and include 5G support in multiple bands. The phone also appears to have room for a 6.8-inch screen, as it appears to be 174 mm diagonally. Also, a design scheme available on the US FCC website suggests that the Mi 11T may come with a rectangular camera module on the back.
It is important to note that the US FCC website does not explicitly mention the name of the Mi 11T in any of the documents related to the phone model number 21081111RG. It is therefore safe to consider the details with a pinch of salt.
Separately, a China Weibo insider speculated that the Mi 11T would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core SoC. The phone also has a 120 Hz screen and a 64 megapixel primary sensor.
Mi 11T Pro specifications (expected)
In addition to the Mi 11T, another Xiaomi phone arrived at the US FCC with model number 2107113SG. It is believed to be the Mi 11T Pro. The same phone has also received a certification from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand (NBTC), where the title Mi 11T Pro is clearly written, as reported by informant Abhishek Yadav. However, Gadgets 360 was not able to independently verify the NBTC listing at the time of submission of this story.
The insider who reported the alleged Mi 11T details on Weibo also suggested that the Mi 11T Pro’s specs might include an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120 Hz Super AMOLED screen, 5,000 mAh battery and support for fast charging up to 120W.
The exact release date of the Mi 11T and Mi 11T Pro has yet to be revealed. However, a report citing people familiar with GizmoChina’s development claims that the global launch of the Mi 11T will take place on September 23rd. After global launch, the Mi 11T – along with the Mi 11T Pro – could enter some of Xiaomi’s key markets, including India. YouTube channel The Pixel has also suggested that the price of the Mi 11T Pro can range from VND 13,000,000–15,000,000 (about INR 42,400–49,000).
The Mi 10T series comprising the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T Lite was launched globally on September 30th last year. The Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro arrived in India in October.
