JioPhone Next price in India appeared online. Its specs also surfaced once again and this time we’ll learn a little more about what the cheaper smartphone to come can bring. The phone was developed by Reliance Jio in partnership with Google and should run Android 11 (Go edition). The latest leak claims it will come with a 5.5-inch HD screen, two storage configurations and VoLTE 4G connectivity. The JioPhone Next was announced at the 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries in June.

According a tweet per well-known informant Yogesh, JioPhone Next can cost Rs. 3,499. It is expected to go on sale in India from September 10th.
The price was also mentioned in a previous leak for the JioPhone Next to be under $50, which suggests the phone could cost less than Rs. 4,000 in India. This is in line with the new leak.

The JioPhone Next should run Android 11 (Go edition) and feature a 5.5-inch HD screen. It can be powered by Qualcomm QM215 SoC and come with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. There may be 16GB or 32GB of internal eMMC 4.5 storage. In terms of optics, the phone may come with a 13 megapixel camera on the back and an 8 megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. JioPhone Next may come with 4G VoLTE support and dual-SIM support. The phone can be powered by a 2,500mAh battery.
This isn’t the first time the JioPhone Next specs have been released. Recently, its boot animation and some features were shared by Mishaal Rahman, Editor-in-Chief, XDA Developers. The specs mentioned by Rahman are in line with the new leak and in addition the phone comes with Bluetooth v4.2, GPS connectivity and 1080p video recording capability. It may come with DuoGo and Google Camera Go preinstalled.
