The iPhone 13 is due out next month and a new report sheds light on Apple’s exact roadmap. The Cupertino giant is expected to host its launch event on September 14, when new iPhone models are expected to launch. The lineup will likely include four models – iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 mini. All four models must be pre-ordered a few days after the supposed event, on September 17th.
FrontPageTech reports, based on source information, that the entire iPhone 13 lineup will be available for ordering on September 17th and sales will likely begin on September 24th. If these dates are true, the report predicts that Apple’s launch event could likely take place on September 14th, the second Tuesday of the month, with media invites arriving on September 7th.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Apple followed a strict release schedule in September, likely on a Tuesday in the first or second week of the month. Last year, due to blockages, there were several production delays, forcing Apple to slightly change the dates and start selling a month after the actual release. It’s possible that the tech giant will return to its pre-pandemic schedule this year.
Recently, a Chinese insider leaked screenshots from a retail website that listed all four iPhone 13 models with a scheduled release date of September 17th. This is the pre-order date, with official release scheduled for September 24th. IPhone 13 is expected to come in a Sunset Gold color with dual rear cameras and a notch on the front.
The insider also suggests that AirPods 3 might be unveiled on September 30th, and they might come with IPX4 water resistance.
