The company announced in a blog that it is working on improvements aimed at making discovery easier. In the future, it will show photo and video results in Instagram Search, in the Top tab itself.

“We are also improving search results for exploration. For example, your search for “space” will also show photos and videos related to the space. This is especially useful when you don’t have an exact username or hashtag in mind when researching a particular topic,” Instagram says in its blog post. He shared a screenshot of what the new search results will look like, and the design seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from the look of the search results in TikTok.

Instagram is also expanding the keywords you can use to search for content. Instagram says it is currently focused on getting correct keyword search results in English, but will add support for other languages ​​in the future. The company has not provided a schedule for the release of these features.
