- Go to Definitions > Siri and Search and then call Listen to “Hey Siri”.
- scroll down and tap Whatsapp and then enable Use with Ask Siri to enable Siri integration.
- Now you can say “Hey Siri! Send a WhatsApp message to… ”followed by the name of the contact you want to send the message to.
- Siri will ask you what you want to send. You can then tell the assistant the message you want to send to the contact.
- Now a preview will appear on your iPhone screen with your message. Siri will also read it to you.
- Siri will ask if you are ready to send the message. If you are ok with the text, you can say “Yes” to send your message to your contact via WhatsApp.
If you are accessing WhatsApp via voice commands on your iOS device for the first time, you will need to allow Siri to access your WhatsApp data. Sometimes Siri also doesn’t work properly with WhatsApp and has an error saying: “Sorry, something is wrong. Please try again.”
