Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 Coming, CD Projekt shares ideas on improvements; First DLC to be released soon

Cyberpunk developer 2077 CD, Projekt Red, finally shared an update on the upcoming Patch 1.3 after months of silence. It is expected that the game will receive this major patch soon, which will bring new features and improvements to the game. Cyberpunk 2077 will also have its first downloadable content (DLC) soon, which will add more content to the game released in December 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 did not have a major release in terms of player satisfaction as it was affected by bugs and glitches.

After years of hype and several delays, Cyberpunk 2077 was finally released for PC and consoles – old and new – in December 2020. In the following weeks, when gamers were able to try out the game on their respective hardware, the response was quite disappointing, as there were a number of issues with the game, especially on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Developer Projekt Red’s CD released several patches and hotfixes over the next few months to improve the game’s performance and to some extent.

After June’s previous Patch 1.23, fans are eagerly waiting for the next patch to come.

The latest ‘What’s New in the Night City? ” The post on the game’s official website shares some of the changes that will take place in Cyberpunk 2077 with Patch 1.3. The game’s GPS navigation has been improved and players will now be able to see more of the map, which should allow them to better gauge upcoming turns. Players will be able to reset their odds to modify their character build, but this will cost in-game currency. These are the main changes that have been shared by the developer, but the full patch notes will be shared shortly.

In addition, the game’s official Twitter account posted a short clip as a prelude to his upcoming REDstreams live stream on Twitch, where he’ll talk about the changes Patch 1.3 will bring to Cyberpunk 2077 and also about the first DLC coming into the game. The stream is scheduled for August 17th at 6:00 pm CEST (9:30 pm IST) on Twitch. As a reminder, the developer shared a timeline for upcoming fixes and DLCs in January and at the time, free DLCs were planned for the beginning of the year. However, in February, the company was hit by a cyber attack that compromised its internal systems and caused major delays in planned content schedules. It looks like the developer is getting back on track, although he hasn’t yet announced the exact release date for the upcoming Patch 1.3.
