A light aircraft flipped over when a pilot was forced to crash land in a field after the plane suffered mechanical problems, fire crews said.
The aircraft had taken off from RAF Waddington and was forced to land near the A607 at Coleby, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said.
A man, believed to be in his 50s, suffered minor injuries in the crash just after midday on Saturday.
The matter was referred to the Air Accidents Investigation Branch.
