Another day, another watch list.
Today’s list is for the Jim Thorpe Award, given to college football’s best defensive back. The field of 35 players is spread out evenly among all 11 Division 1-A conferences, but the SEC leads all with five representatives, followed by four from the Big 12, Big Ten, Conference USA, MAC and Pac-12.
Last year’s winner was LSU’s Morris Claiborne (pictured).
