As females across the globe prepare to brave the beach in their latest swimsuit, some of the world’s most beautiful women will be taking to the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim July 19-23, with swimwear designers including Dolores Cortés and Luli Fama on the lineup.

An array of necklaces, earrings and bracelets will hit the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat (Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat) and Monaco’s prestigious Hotel de Paris concurrently between July 15 and August 15 as part of the Style of Jolie jewelry exhibition presenting the line designed in collaboration between Angelina Jolie and Robert Procop. The movie star showcased her jewelry collaboration during an expo at Julien’s Gallery in Beverly Hills back in April last year, while the new French exhibition is set to showcase some additional new jewels.

Britain Creates 2012: Fashion Art Collusion
Throughout July and August
Taking place to mark the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Britain Creates project has seen leading designers such as Paul Smith and Matthew Williamson each team up with a leading contemporary artist to create a work of art to represent London as a capital for creative excellence. The specially created exclusive pieces are on display at London’s VA museum until July 29, followed by an installation in department store Selfridges’ ‘Wonder Windows’ during July and August.
Lakmé Fashion Week
Jointly organized by beauty brand Lakmé and fashion events company IMG, Lakmé Fashion Week aims to integrate India into the global fashion world. Now in its 13th year, the event will host over 80 designers, while the Gen Next program, encouraging debutantes, will welcome renowned designer Aki Narula as a mentor to the rising stars.
Copenhagen Fashion Week
Kicking off fashion week season in the Scandinavian countries, the Spring/Summer 2013 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week will feature a range of Danish and international fashion talent, with homegrown designer Anne Sofie Madsen presenting alongside global labels including French Connection and Odeur.
