Ranjit Singh clinched the Under-18 Boys’ singles title by upsetting 2nd seed Aditya Deshwal of Delhi in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 in the CLTA-AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament at Chandigarh today.
Soumya Saxena won the Under-14 Girl’s singles final. While Karandeep of Punjab won the Under-14 Boys singles title by defeating Sagar Bains 7-5, 6-1. Ashima Garg, Wild Card Entrée of Chandigarh kept the spectators spell bound by defeating top seed Shehnaj Singh of Delhi in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 Aarushi Kakkar with Shristi Dhanda gave another sterling performance in Doubles Girls -14 by deafeating
Aarzoo Chaudhary and Taru Ahluwalia in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
Sagar Bains with Calvin Golmei in Doubles U-14 Boys trounced Sabrang Sandal and Raunaq Singh in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
