A painting of the South African president, Jacob Zuma, has been vandalised at a gallery in Johannesburg.
The picture – which shows Mr Zuma with his genitals exposed – was smeared with paint, by a man claiming that the image was disrespectful.
The President’s party, the ANC, has already planned to go to court to ask that it be removed on the grounds that it violates Mr Zuma’s right to dignity and makes a mockery of his office.
The BBC’s Milton Nkosi reports.
