A man was killed when the glider he was flying came down in a field in Bedfordshire.
Emergency services were called to the incident, off Harling Road, in Eaton Bray, at about 14:30 BST.
Police said the road had been closed as part of the investigation. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has been alerted.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was pronounced dead shortly after paramedics arrived.
