Forecasters say everybody will see wet weather this week
The Environment Agency has issued seven new flood warnings in south-west England, a region currently in drought.
It said the Rivers Otter, Coley, Upper and Lower Axe, Char, Taw and Wriggle were likely to break their banks as a week of heavy rain was predicted.
Residents have been told to take “immediate action” to protect themselves and their property.
Lower level flood alerts were also issued in 20 South West areas, with up to 40mm (1.6in) of rain predicted.
